Although commonplace throughout the country, over time, these structures were eventually replaced by modern structures. One can still find covered bridges today either because they reside in out-of-the-way locations or the local community embraced the concept and preserved these historical structures. In the genre of Evidence-based Design Art in Healthcare, generally, man-made scenes are images designers avoid, however, in select scenes, researches note the benefit generated by some quaint cultural artifacts, mainly barns and covered bridges.
