Caesar Creek State Park remains a haven for outdoor enthusiasts, but during the winter months, I often find the park void of visitors. This winter sunset entails one quiet view where the lake’s lower levels reveal landforms normally submerged as engineers prepare the reservoir for spring rains. In this image, the newly exposed shoreline captures evidence of a heron making use of the park’s peace.
