This image captures a couple spending their Saturday evening quietly taking in a Dayton sunset while sitting on the Great Miami River Recreation Trail looking upon kayak chutes of the Great Miami River. They sheltered under a pavilion known as Founder Point. The five small puddles behind this couple are replicate footsteps of Catherine Van Cleve, the first Daytonian to come ashore and the great-great-grandmother of Dayton’s famous sons…the Wright Brothers!
