A panoramic image of Delicate Arch near Moab, Utah where weathering and erosion produced Arches National Park’s most iconic stone arch. Instead of the traditional narrow crop, this wider perspective gives viewers a sense of the adjacent panhole and tilted Entrada Sandstone deposited during the Jurassic 140-180 million years ago. On this spectacular evening, warm golden light washed over Delicate Arch and the La Sal Mountains in the distance.
This image is the start of a series covering our US National Parks. If you like to order this print, you'll want to check out this gallery!
