This was a particularly impressive sunset, so much so the large cloud on the horizon appears to have grown an arm in order to take a selfie of the bounty unfolding below.

This gallery captures clouds during sunset and twilight where clouds take on their most colorful forms. During this hours, late day thunderstorms are often transitioning from cumulonimbus stage to dissipation phase. In capturing interesting clouds many have long watches for familiar shapes taking to the skies called pareidolia.
