Golden Hour Over Dead Horse Point Panorama No. 1

A peaceful sunset over Dead Horse Point State Park near Moab, Utah. From the park’s southern overlook the sun’s golden light rakes over the distant mesas of Canyonlands National Park while the Colorado River meanders 2000 feet below. The lower mesa in the left third of the image served as a natural corral for wild horses and was also the film scene for Thelma and Louise’s last ride.
