Joe and Sarah Marcum gifted $3.5 Million dollars to the Hamilton Community Foundation which converted the former Mercy Hospital lot into a phenomenal green space adjacent to RiversEdge Amphitheater. A year after the park opened in 2017 this fountain was installed completed long-term plans for a vertical structure in the park. The heart-shaped cut out from the M fountain pays tribute to Joe and Sarah Marcum who gifted the park to Hamilton Ohio. On this autumn evening, the light from the setting sun illuminated the fountain waters with golden light creating a dynamic and magical scene.

One of the more graceful forms of landscape architecture involves the use of fountains. My shooting style already entails Contre-jour where I purposely aim my lens at the sun. For me, catching the backlit water spray produces magical manmade waterscapes which offers a visual treat. This set of prints makes for stunning wall décor which brings cheery light and energy to any wall décor.
