In this late spring sunset, a super bloom of Black-eyed Susans and Lance-leaf Coreopsis mimic the rays emanating from the setting sun as varying cloud layers refract light in differing levels of brightness.

Evidence-based design in Healthcare is an approach by healthcare providers to immerse patients in soothing environments which promote healing and favorable patient outcomes. Researchers found many identify meadows and open landscapes are scenes which provide a calming effect on viewers. Some propose this affinity may be an instinct carried over from early man’s presence on African savannahs. Perhaps, the abundance availability of food, the ability to see distant horizons, and the lush vegetation serve as factors which make representation landscape images so inviting in healthcare environments.
