Pretty Autumn Day Over Dayton National Cemetery No. 5

The Dayton National Cemetery serves as the final resting place for 55,000 servicemen. The cemetery owes its existence back to Abraham Lincoln who designated Dayton as the third National Asylum for Disabled Volunteer Soldiers and Seamen in the nation. Today, there are only seven other National Cemeteries in the US. On this amazing fall day, the surrounding trees in Dayton National Cemetery reached a crescendo of color, as if offering their final salute of the season.
